Congratulations Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman has been elected to the NBA Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, which is only fitting of one of the best defenders and rebounders in the game. He was a member of five championship winning teams, including the 72-10 Chicago Bulls, my choice for the best team in NBA history.

Rodman also cultivated an image that probably wouldn't go over so well right now, with NBA Commissioner David Stern trying to act like the NFL's Roger Goodell and be a behavior sheriff. Maybe it was because of Rodman that Stern has become stricter with the younger players.

In other sporting news, Chad Ochocinco, who might be changing his name back to Chad Johnson, currently a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, decided that to keep in shape during the NFL owner's lockout he'd try his hand at the other football, or futbol. He thought his abilities and endurance would be enough for him to land a spot on the Kansas City AC. He made the team in a backup role, as his foot skills were behind his competition.

A star in one sport doesn't make a star in another.
