This is a quickie...
I am beginning to get irritated by the many people who keep asking me if I'm a Boston Red Sox fan because of my hat:
Which may be hard to tell from this picture, but it is a Dodger Blue cap with a stylized "B" on the front, and the distinctive cursive spelling of "Brooklyn" on the back:
Now, in New York, it is commonplace to see Yankee hats with the interlocking "NY" is all shades and combinations thinkable, so maybe people think my cap is a Boston rendition of that. The "B" though, is not the same, and never has been the same, and when even my black neighbors in Brooklyn ask me, I find myself educating them on the Brooklyn Dodgers...(sigh)
