George Tiller, a doctor from Kansas, a doctor that performed abortions, a doctor that fought for the reproductive rights of American women, a doctor that was shot and wounded in 1993 precisely because he was this type of doctor, a brave and focused and controversial husband, father, and grandfather, was shot and killed Sunday while working as an usher in his church.
A doctor was shot and killed in church? Maybe we shouldn't expect that much from a state that has a problem teaching evolution.
They've captured the shooter.
People who support reproductive privacy and people who are against any and all abortions are always going to have problems relating to each other.
Obviously shooting doctors isn't the answer.
